From the time Michael Geller began work in his own firm on December 1, 1995, he wanted the firm to grow to handle a variety of consumer, business, commercial, real estate and business law issues and matters. Since that time, the firm has grown. Michael Geller, Inc. represents plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of civil law and litigation cases.

Work has included both plaintiff and defense work in the area of automobile dealer law and dealer fraud, lemon law, consumer fraud and various consumer law issues including warranty issues for all products, expiring gift certificates, unfair business practices and false advertising.

Michael Geller defends automobile dealers against all types of consumer claims as well as prosecutes dealers for similar violations. His perspective doing both Plaintiff and Defense work in the field gives him a unique perspective on California Automobile Dealer law.

In addition to his legal expertise, Michael Geller is a dedicated service dog trainer for Canine Companions (Formerly Canine Companions for Independence) (CC), the largest provider of service dogs in the nation for disabilities other than blindness. He is a passionate advocate for access rights for service dogs in California and the significant impact these dogs can have in various settings, including in courtrooms, where they can assist young witnesses who are called to testify.

For almost 20 years, Michael has served as a puppy raiser for service dogs and is currently waiting for puppy number 17, after turning in Vance VII in February, 2025. Michael’s commitment to this cause is visible as he can often be found around local courts, with a service dog trainee by his side. Some might say that he is a lawyer by day, service dog trainer by night—bringing compassion and dedication to both his legal and community endeavors.
